The Buddhist Group of Kendal (Theravada) holds an open meeting once a month on Sundays, 2pm-4.30pm.
Dates of meetings are:

The meetings last from 2.00 to 4.30pm and activities include meditation, talks, discussion and tea. The teachings are given by teachers authorised by the Theravada community of Monks. These are open meetings to which all are welcome. There are no charges.

The meetings are held at the Fellside Centre, Low Fellside, Kendal, LA9 4NH. Entrance on Sepulchre Lane. Use main (top) door, down stone steps.
